I want to offer the concept of heaven here on earth, but with the full knowledge of the human paradox that it is difficult for us to trust joy even as we yearn for utopia ... with our wild optimism in Spring and all metaphorical new beginnings. It is why the poets call April the cruelest month... for surely life is full of possibilities but also many disappointments.... a cycle of growth and decay. Seen through the lens of Nature we can grasp this yearning for Utopia as a glimpse at moments of Grace.
