Paintings > Haiku

This is an ongoing series inspired by the Japanese Haiku. I conceptualized the paintings before looking for haiku to link them with, so as to avoid the pit fall of feeling constrained by the poem. I was inspired to make my paintings relate to the classic concept of Haiku ... 3 lines ... nature metaphor.... and season specific as well as to some extent the reconciliation of opposites.
