Rene Lynch is co-founder, co-director and co-curator of Metaphor Contemporary Art, a social sculpture, by Lynch and her artist husband Julian Jackson.
From 2001-2010, Lynch and Jackson created over 80 solo and group exhibitions of new works by hundreds of artists at Metaphor Contemporary Art gallery in Brooklyn, NY. Metaphor hosted numerous artists’ and critics’ talks and panel discussions, and published several exhibition catalogs. Metaphor exchanges with the broader NYC and international art community through an extensive archival website.

Lynch has also curated numerous exhibitions at university galleries, museums and non profit galleries.
Rene Lynch continues her curatorial practice on a project basis and to be available for art consulting and lectures.
